Alleged DWI Accident Shuts Dyke Road Wednesday Night
Driver crashed into a utility pole.

A Setauket man has been arrested following an alleged DWI accident that shut Dyke Road near Caroline Ave. on Wednesday night.
Suffolk Police have charged Christopher Touch, 53, with driving while intoxicated and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle after he crashed his 1978 Ford pickup truck into a utility pole at 7:48 p.m. Wednesday.
LIPA was also called to the scene. Police said Touch was not injured in the crash.
