The lineup for Monday, July 23 at the Stony Brook Film Festival:
7:00 p.m.
The Girl and the Spanish Boy (6 minutes)
A sweet girl falls in love with a Spanish boy, but a twist of fate forces her to start anew.
a.k.a. Doc Pomus (99 minutes)
From the same team who delivered the documentary comes a documentary about the dramatic life and prolific career of Doc Pomus – the man who penned hit songs like "Save the Last Dance for Me," "This Magic Moment," "A Teenager in Love," and "Viva Las Vegas." Doc Pomus’s daughter, Sharyn Felder, who conceived of the documentary, will be attending the festival along with Peter Miller, one of the directors, and Caroline Berler, associate producer will also attend.

9:30 p.m.
E.A. Poe's Berenice (21 minutes)
An Edgar Allen Poe tale of loss and obsession. Filmmaker Michael Stern, who lives in Port Jefferson Station, will be attending.
Hotel Lux (110 minutes)
A dark comedy in which Hans Zeisig, a comedian and impersonator, flees Hitler's Germany to arrive in Stalin's Russia with a forged passport. People believe him to be Hitler's personal astrologer – and when his services are requested by Stalin himself, he knows he's in too deep.
