Dan Zucker is co-owner of the horse Street Life.

A Ward Melville alumnus is part owner of Street Life, one of the horses that will race Saturday at Belmont, according to a racing report published Wednesday in Newsday.

Newsday reported that Dan Zucker co-owns Street Life along with Houston Texans owner Bob McNair. The website OneFastHorse.com called Street Life a "promising 3-year-old colt." The horse is in the No. 1 post with 12-to-1 odds on the Belmont morning line.

According to Auburn Reporter, Zucker, 47, is a businessman now living in Seattle.
