
The school budget conversation started earlier than usual this year, and hit an important note Tuesday night when the Three Village board of education unanimously adopted a $178.6 million budget to present to the community. The adopted budget largely preserves the programs and services that community members had fought to keep in recent weeks, while eliminating positions in departments across-the-board and reigning in spending on supplies, equipment and contracted services.
