Tibbits Park was packed for White Plains' annual tree lighting event.

 

Tibbits Park was filled with holiday cheer Sunday for the annual City Lights, Bright Holiday Nights," community tree lighting event.

The City of for the first time this year by planting a tree, instead of cutting one down, as well as decorating the park with LED lights.

The White Plains Youth Bureau After-School Chorus, The White Plains High School Marching Band, Eastview School Select Chorus, Taiko Drummers and The Star Performers entertain some in attendance, while others enjoyed an ice carving exhibit, a talk with Santa, rides, snacks and more.
