3 Accused of Driving Under the Influence
The following arrest information was provided by the White Plains Police Department, it does not indicate a conviction.

City police charged three people with driving under the influence this weekend.
Police arrested a 25-year-old Orangeburg man just after midnight Saturday after he was stopped at a sobriety checkpoint at the intersection of Chatterton Avenue and Tarrytown Road.
While speaking with the driver, police say they smelled alcohol and asked the man out of the vehicle. Police say the driver then failed a field sobriety test and was arrested at the scene. A blood-alcohol test later revealed the man's blood-alcohol content was .11, police say.

The man was processed at police headquarters and released on $250 bail.
Just before 1 a.m. the same night, Norwalk, CT, man was charged with DWAI after police say he was caught driving while high on marijuana.

Police say the driver, 26, was stopped at a sobriety checkpoint at Waller Avenue and Lyon Place. While speaking with the driver, police say they smelled marijuana.
According to arrest reports, the man failed a field sobriety test. He was arrested and charged at the scene. Police say they later found a partially smoked marijuana cigarette near the back seat.
A City man was also charged with driving while intoxicated Sunday night.
Police say the driver, 62, was stopped near the intersection of East Post Road and Martin Luther King Blvd. just after 11 p.m. because of a broken headlight. Police smelled alcohol in the vehicle and asked the driver to take a field sobriety test.
According to police, the driver failed the test and was arrested at the scene. A blood-alcohol test later revealed the man's blood-alcohol content was .12, police say.
The driver was held for court the following day.
