Cops Nab Alleged Drug Dealer in White Plains

City resident faces felony, misdemeanor charges.

White Plains police arrested a city resident early Wednesday morning who was holding heroin packed for sale, cops said.

Officers from the city's narcotics unit arrested Jerry Horne, a 45-year-old Park Avenue resident, at 3 a.m. on April 3 as a result of a drug investigation, police said.

Cops found 11 envelopes of alleged heroin in Horne's possession, individually wrapped and "packaged for sale," authorities told patch.

Horne was held without bail overnight at police headquarters, and faces charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, a felony, and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a misdemeanor.
