August 2022 Primary Voter Guide: Westchester Polls Open Tuesday
There are contested primaries in two congressional primaries and one Senate primary

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY — Early voting in the Aug. 23 primary ended Sunday. Now, registered voters in Westchester County who haven't already cast their ballots in New York can still make it to the polls Tuesday to decide a couple of primaries for congressional districts and one state Senate primary.
Polls in Westchester will be open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday. You can search for your polling place at this website.
As far as voting by absentee ballot, Monday, Aug. 22 is the last day to apply in person at the Board of Elections in Westchester for an absentee ballot. Tuesday, Aug. 23 is the last day to postmark the primary election absentee ballot by mail. The ballot has to be received by the Board of Elections no later than Aug. 30. Tuesday, Aug. 23 is also the last day to deliver the primary election absentee ballot to the Board of Elections or any poll site throughout the county; it must be delivered by the close of the polls, which is 9 p.m.

IMPORTANT: Only voters registered in the Democratic Party in the 16th and 17th Congressional Districts and the 34th Senatorial District are eligible to vote, and only voters registered in the Republican and Conservative parties in the 17th Congressional District are eligible to vote.
