White Plains residents and officials share their favorite summer memories. What's yours?

Though summer hasn’t officially arrived, it still feels like it has—especially today. As you may have guessed from reading White Plains Patch or our Facebook page, we are obsessed with summer and could talk about it all year round!
In celebration of summer, we are hoping that you will participate in our “My Best Summer Was...” feature, where local officials and readers recall memories of their favorite summer experience.
All you have to do is send an email to dina.sciortino@patch.com with the following: a favorite summer picture, your name, age, what is your favorite summer destination, your best summer, one thing summer says to you, and what you are looking forward to most this summer.

Age: My Internet-test 'real age' is a solid 10 years older than what I really am, which is sad. But for the record I am 28.
What is your favorite summer destination: Wildwood, NJ hands down!!!
My best summer was...Spending every summer as a child in Wildwood with 30 of my relatives swimming, eating, going on rides, playing games and laughing. The best was when we would see dolphins in the water at beach! It is still my absolute favorite place. I still try to get there every summer.
The one thing that always says summer to me is...Ralph's Italian Ice in Long Beach, Long Island; boardwalk food (cheese fries and frozen lemonade!!!); sun dresses and sandals; swimming; flowers; constantly being outside. That's way more than one thing, I can't help it I LOVE summer!!!
This summer I'm most looking forward to...Finding a perfect spot for my WiFi laptop card to work at Oakland Beach in Rye so I can work and listen to the waves, but don't tell the boss!
