Robert Watson, 24, fell to his death at the Grand Canyon

A body found last month below the rim of Grand Canyon National Park has been identified as Robert Watson, a 24-year-old White Plains man.
A search began following the report of an abandoned vehicle near the South Rim of the park on April 6. According to a press release from the park, search operations went on "as weather and available personnel allowed."
When the body was discovered on April 25, 25 people were needed to plan and recover the body due to the terrain where the body was located, 700 feet below the rim of the canyon.
