A visit from this wonderful chamber choir, directed by Marie Caruso, has become a seasonal tradition for our Downtown Music audience. This year, the program weaves together ancient and modern expressions of faith and mystery. Highlights include the Sarum Christmas chant “Veni, redemptor gentium”; the lively 14th-century English motet “Santa Mater—Dou way, Robyn,” and Renaissance master Jacobus Handl’s radiant “Ante luciferum genitus.” Plews familiar carols of the season.
