Car Break-ins, PCP Shoplifting at Sears

Car Theft at City Limits 

A Scarsdale couple reported that their car was broken into outside of the City Limits Diner Monday, around 8:26 p.m. One of the car windows was shattered and a Mac Air, iPod, a wallet and briefcase and other items were stolen out of their Toyota Prius, which had a total value of $1,398.

Car Break-in on Harding and Russell

A man reported that his window was broken into and a $300 iPod stolen on Monday at the intersection of Harding Avenue and Russell Street. This incident of felony criminal mischief may be related to the incident at City Limits, according to police reports.

Police: Man Shoplifted While on PCP

A 23-year-old said he was high on PCP when he walked into on Tuesday, took a watch and left without paying for it—according to police reports. The Valhalla resident, who refused to be fingerprinted, was charged with petty larceny.
