The Centrale In White Plains Sells Out In 6 Weeks

The condominium underwent a complete renovation and capital improvement in November 2020.

WHITE PLAINS, NY — Just six weeks after launching sales, The Centrale, a contemporary condominium development in White Plains, is completely sold out.

RockFarmer Properties purchased 22 of the building's 30 residences in 2012 and maintained the units as rentals before undertaking a complete renovation and capital improvement in November 2020.

Upgrades made by RockFarmer included new appliances, vanities and fixtures, as well as a complete renovation of the building's common areas, lobby, gym, resident's lounge and rooftop spaces.

George Michelis, principal of RockFarmer Properties, said it was humbling to see the incredible interest in the project.

"Following the onset of the pandemic, we realized White Plains and The Centrale offered an incredible value play for residents looking for more space in a fully amenitized building," he said.

Located at 257 Central Avenue in White Plains, The Centrale features 30 1,200- to 1,600-square-foot two-bedroom homes. There is private parking, a fitness center with an attached sauna, an outdoor children's playground, sky lounge and a rooftop terrace with 360-degree views and built-in dining sets.

Each home has a private outdoor space, hardwood floors, washer and dryer, central heating and cooling and high-end stainless-steel appliances in the kitchens.

The Centrale is a 15-minute walk to the White Plains Metro North train station and 35 minutes by car to Manhattan.
