Fake Credit Cards at Apple Store, Urination at Sam Ash, Grand Larceny at Nordstorm

Bronx Man Allegedly Tries to Buy iPad with Stolen Credit Cards

Police quickly apprehended Lamar Malhado of the Bronx after he allegedly attempted to buy an iPad for $499.99 with a fake credit card at the Apple Store in The Westchester on Monday, police reports said.

The 22-year-old was allegedly found to be in possession of three forged Master Cards and three forged Visa credit cards, as well as a list of credit card numbers and names. Malhado said he needed the forged credit cards, two of which has his own name on them, because he is unemployed.

He was charged with six counts of criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree, a Class E felony; and criminal possession of a forged instrument in the second degree, a Class D felony. 

Grand Larceny at Nordstrom

A 57-year-old Brooklyn woman was charged with grand larceny in the fourth degree, a Class E felony, on Tuesday after being accused of using a fake credit card to by $2,200 worth of shoes from Nordstrom in The Westchester, according to police reports.

Carol Coker allegedly told police she opened the card at the Nordstrom in Menlo Park, New Jersey with a fake Pennsylvania driver’s license. Coker said she was driven to White Plains by a friend, according to police reports. The two picked out three pairs of shoes, but only Coker was stopped by security. 

Trespassing, and Heroin Possession at Winbrook 

A 57-year-old man was arrested for criminal trespassing in the third degree, and criminal possession of a controlled substance, both misdemeanors, in a parking lot at the Winbrook Housing complex on Wednesday.

Police recognized the White Plains resident and knew he had been allegedly forbidden from being on property owned by the White Plains Housing Authority, prompting officers to arrest the man. According to police reports, he was found to allegedly be in possession of a light brown powder substance believed to be heroin.

Man Allegedly Apologizes for Public Urination, But Not Cocaine in His Pocket

A 23-year-old Brewster man allegedly apologized to police for urinating in front of Sam Ash at 1:50 a.m. on Wednesday, according to police reports.

However, sorry isn’t good enough when you allegedly have an active warrant for your arrest.

When police arrested the 23-year-old, they also allegedly found a bag of what was believed to be cocaine in his possession. The man was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, and with a violation for public urination.
