A case of criminal mischief, a felony in the second degree, occurred early Tuesday morning. According to police reports, officers arrived at 35 Mamaroneck Ave. around 4:28 a.m. on reports of the storefront window being shattered.
Men Accused of Sniffing Cocaine in Parking Lot, Then Going Into Bar

Two Port Chester men were arrested Tuesday around 12:23 a.m. for criminal possession of a controlled substance, a seventh degree misdemeanor.
Using binoculars, police allegedly witnessed the men sniffing cocaine in a Dodge Durango in the Chester-Maple Parking Garage, at 9 Chester Ave, then go into Black Bear Saloon. Police escorted the 22 and 24-year-old out of the bar, and found that both men allegedly each had a bag of cocaine in their possession.

Man Allegedly Resists Arrest for Stealing Ham, Cheese, Beer
A 44-year-old homeless man was charged with petty larceny and resisting arrest, both class a misdemeanors, at Walmart after allegedly putting ham, cheese and a six-pack of beer, a total cost of $12.75, in a plastic bag and walking out of the store without paying for it.
According to police reports, the man was in the custody of store security and allegedly refused to be handcuffed by officers when they arrived by stiffening his body, and acting as dead weight.
