High-Rise AVE Hamilton Green At White Plains Mall Site Opens Leasing
The luxury 12-story tower has studios to three-bedrooms, with penthouses and loft apartments, still available.

WHITE PLAINS, NY — Many of us will always have nostalgia for afternoons wasted at the record shop, or browsing the aisles for back-to-school clothes, but the demise of the White Plains Mall is already boosting the housing inventory in Westchester.
RXR, in partnership with Korman Communities, announced the launch of leasing at AVE Hamilton Green, the "luxurious, state-of-the-art residential and mixed use community in White Plains elevating the cosmopolitan lifestyle across all of Westchester County."
Located at the site of the former White Plains Mall, which RXR purchased in 2021 as part of a $650 million mall-to-housing conversion, AVE Hamilton will be managed by Korman and will include two residential buildings.

"AVE Hamilton Green represents more than just a residential development – it is part of an exciting full mixed-use masterplan including residential, office, and retail uses as well as a dynamic green space that will be accessible to the public," RXR VP Joseph V. Graziose said. "All of this comes with the close-in, walkable proximity to a transit hub and the dynamic neighborhood retail."
Korman says AVE Hamilton Green "emphasizes a commitment to enhancing the apartment living experience in vibrant, connected communities where residents can thrive through modern design, flexibility, high-touch service, and resident lifestyle programming, signified by the AVE defining service mark 'Live Better.'"

The first residential building, 25 Cottage, will have 170 apartments with "sleek, modern design, condo-quality European finishes, and graciously scaled, thoughtfully designed, and impeccably appointed business, wellness, and entertainment amenities."
The 12-story tower offers studios to three-bedrooms, including penthouses, as well as live/work loft apartments. Both yearlong leases and flexible-stay (30 days or longer), fully furnished apartments are available. The residences range in size from 475 to 1,500 square feet, with monthly rents ranging from $2,700 to $7,500. First move-ins will begin at the start of 2025.
The apartments include floor-to-ceiling windows with "View Glass," a dynamic smart glass transitioning technology designed to deliver optimal natural light throughout the day with sweeping views of the area; stainless steel appliances; soft-close, wood cabinetry; quartz countertops and backsplashes; large walk-in closets; and durable, wood-inspired vinyl plank flooring.
Residents will have access to a co-working space with high-speed Wi-Fi, an executive conference room, breakout rooms, and individual work pods. Social spaces will include a resident lounge with flexible seating and an indoor gaming area. Wellness amenities will include a 24/7 fitness center with dedicated studio space, an indoor pool, and an outdoor terrace with lounge seating and grilling stations. Other conveniences will include a hot beverage station, residential mail and package rooms, a dog wash and an indoor dog run.
The topping-out ceremony took place on August 26, where executives from RXR and the Cappelli Organization joined dignitaries from Westchester County and the City of White Plains to celebrate the milestone, which also included the completion of the final floor of 25 Cottage's sister tower, 5 Cottage.
5 Cottage, a 26-story, 307-unit residential tower, will round out the AVE Hamilton Green complex when completed in 2025. The complex will have 559 underground parking spaces, 55,000 square feet of open space and 39,000 square feet of commercial and entertainment retail space.
AVE Hamilton Green is developed in partnership with the Cappelli Organization and its subsidiary, LRC Construction, serving as general contractor.
"We were excited to expand our partnership with Korman Communities and the AVE brand in our core region of the New York metro area," Whitney Arcaro, Chief Revenue Officer, RXR Residential, said. "Taking the successful AVE brand and platform to White Plains further punctuates the living experience with AVE’s exceptional personalized lifestyle programming and best-in-class, high-touch services, as well as AVE’s industry-pioneering furnished flexible-stay offering. AVE communities seamlessly adapt to each resident's lifestyle, creating a sense of both members-club exclusivity and a welcoming, all-access environment for short and long-term stays."
