Identity Thief Purchases PC With City’s Man Info
Though a $1,698 HP computer was charged to a Ridgeway Avenue resident, he says the purchase is erroneous.

The White Plains man reported to police Wednesday that his name, address and social security number had allegedly been stolen to open up a fake Bill Me Later account. The identify thief charged the computer to the Bill Me Later account. Police are investigating the report of felony identity theft in the second degree, as well as where the computer was shipped to.
Basketball-Sized Hole Found in South Lexington Window

The superintendent of 235 So. Lexington Ave. called police after discovering a basketball-sized hole in a lobby window around 7:42 p.m. Wednesday.
Security cameras show a male enter the lobby and make an aggressive movement though it is unclear whether he broke the window. Video later shows the man in the elevator who appears to be checking his arms for wounds. Police are investigating the report of criminal mischief.
