Man Allegedly Punches Another After Victim Bumps Into Car

A 43-year-old Old Mamaroneck Road resident was charged with one count of assault in the third degree, a misdemeanor, Wednesday around 7 p.m.

The city man is accused of punching a victim in the face after the victim reversed into the 43-year-old’s car, according to police reports. After punching the victim, the 43-year-old fled the scene in a car with his two friends.

The victim cut off the car, leaving the 43-year-old to flee the scene. The 43-year-old eventually went to police headquarters after his friends were questioned.

Alleged Camera Thief Arrested at Home

A 34-year-old Clinton Avenue resident was arrested for petty larceny after allegedly attempting to steal a $299 Samsung digital camera from Walmart on Main Street. The White Plains man fled the custody of store security, and was later arrested at his home, as police were able to identify him through video survelliance.

Broken Brake Light Leads to Arrest

A 29-year-old Bronx woman was arrested for aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle near Mamaroneck Avenue and Hunting Ridge Road. Police stopped her after her brake light was out. She allegedly told police that she didn’t have a license. According to police reports, her license had been suspended two times prior. Her car was released to a licensed driver.
