Man Pounds on Bar Door at 3:30 a.m., Gets Arrested: Cops

Westchester man, 22, held overnight.

A Bronxville man reveling in White Plains last Sunday was arrested after drunkenly pounding on the door of a local bar, police said.

Cops spied the 22-year-old man in front of 169 Mamaroneck Ave.—Porter House Bar—at 3:30 a.m. banging on the front door. Cops told the man to leave, but he continued to slam the door, police said.

When police tried to move him away from the door he "became aggressive," police said, and was arrested, transported to headquarters and charged with disorderly conduct, a violation.

Police said the Bronxville man was was held overnight, and no bail was set, because of his intoxication.
