The Westchester Steelers, a semi-pro football team, will play an exhibition game to raise money for the White Plains-based Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) at on Aug. 6 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The event—sponsored by Inspiria Media and Hirschfield and Costanzo, Attorneys at Law—includes entertainment by the White Plains Cheerleaders. 5.) Tell Westchester What Challenges Its Seniors Are Facing
Tell Westchester County how they should plan for the needs of senior citizens in the year 2012-2015, by taking its federally mandated survey. The survey data will be used in the county’s report to the New York State Office for the Aging, who will forward the information to the federal Administration on Aging.
