Neighborhood Know-It-All: School Budget/Candidate Vote, City Budget Decision Night, Free Concert

The White Plains School District budget/school board candidate vote; City decides on final budget numbers, a free lunchtime concert and more this week in White Plains

2.) White Plains School Board/Budget Vote

3.)  (Meeting adjourned new date to be announced)

The White Plains Common Council will hold a special meeting Tuesday night at 7:30 p.m. and to make final decision on the 2011-12 city budget. The council will vote on the budget at a special meeting on May 26.

4.) Lawsuit Against Parking Commissioner Dropped

According to The Journal News, an age discrimination lawsuit filed by a city parking enforcement officer against White Plains Parking Commissioner Albert Moroni, also the recreation parks commissioner, has been dropped four months after an identical suit by another officers was dismissed.
