3.) Bike on the BRP, Bicycle Sundays are Coming Back

Throw the bikes in the car (sounds counter-intuitive, but stay with me here) for "Bicycle Sundays on the Bronx River Parkway," which resumes this fall for three consecutive Sundays, on September 11, 18 and September 25.

Plan now to join in-line skaters, joggers, walkers and those with scooters and strollers. Your family can do the 13.1-mile round-trip after parking at the County Center for $4. It's relatively flat and closed to cars, and you can eat at the awesome in White Plains, as a reward for your hard work.

4.) Galleria Gets New Mall Manager

Simon Property Group announced its appointment of Ryan Hidalgo as The Galleria’s mall manager. Hidalgo, a Monroe resident, will oversee the malls operations, security, marketing and finances.

5.) Nominate Your Spectacular Seniors

Do you know a senior citizen who is dedicated to contributing to the local community? Nominate a senior citizen you admire for the Westchester County Senior Hall of Fame.
