Overnight Fire In White Plains Injures At Least 6
The three-alarm fire began on the second floor of a seven-story apartment building.
WHITE PLAINS, NY — Several apartments were damaged by an overnight fire Monday in White Plains, and at least six people were injured.
A post on Facebook from the White Plains Professional Fire Fighters - IAFF Local 274 said the three-alarm fire began on the second floor of a seven-story apartment building at 11 Lake St. in White Plains.
Responding firefighters said some people were jumping out of windows because of the heavy fire conditions.

More than 75 firefighters battled the flames, News 12 reported.
The Red Cross helped house some residents who were displaced, while those on the opposite side of the structure were allowed to get back into their homes.
