Tunnel Could Replace Tappan Zee Bridge Approach in Rockland

If ever there is a short burst of enlightenment in Albany, I’d run this idea past the grand poohbahs: A tunnel could come to the Tappan Zee crossing after all. Though not the South Nyack-Tarrytown trans-Hudson route long sought by anti-bridge proponents—but an underground highway could replace the paved Thruway to and from the Palisades Center mall area in West Nyack to the foot of the soon-to-be-built bridge at South Nyack.

The 5 Most Useful Cloud Applications

Cloud computing is all the rage. Now that computers, and particularly mobile devices using iOS and Android, are moving away from file systems and more towards applications with cloud storage to maintain all of their files, it's becoming much more difficult to justify using a product that isn't in the cloud. Because we tend to use a wide range of different devices, being able to access information stored in the cloud, regardless of the device, is now more important than ever.

One Toothbrush Too Many

So, like I said... I bought a new toothbrush…finally. Much like my experience with the dentist, a lot had changed. Apparently you don’t just go to the drug store and pick up a toothbrush…not anymore. Now there are all kinds to choose from, 'cuz you know we can’t make enough life altering decisions in a day.

There’s a sonic toothbrush, which apparently does something I’m afraid to think about. I guess it can also break the sound barrier. There’s a Smart Series 5000 electric toothbrush, which I assume means it knows each one of your teeth by name and contour, plus what it’s favorite color is.
