A Bronx man was arrested for an alleged hit and run that left a motorist with minor injuries on the Hutchinson River Parkway in White Plains, according to the Westchester County Police.

Hagay Ziv, 32 of Hudson Manor Terrace, was charged with reckless endangerment; leaving the scene of an injury accident; and reckless driving—all misdemeanors. He was arraigned in White Plains City Court Thursday.

Ziv is accused of rear-ending a Dodge Ram with his Chevy Tahoe while on the parkway near Mamaroneck Avenue around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. The collision pushed the Dodge Ram, driven by a 27-year-old New Hampshire man, into the rear of a 2007 Honda Civic, according to police.

All of the drivers stopped, but when the two drivers said they were going to call police—Ziv allegedly jumped back into his truck, police said. As Ziv drove off, he allegedly knocked the New Hampshire man—who sustained minor injuries—into the rear of the Dodge Ram, hitting the car for a second time.

A photo was taken of Ziv’s cars, which lead Westchester County Police to Ziv’s house to arrest him about an hour later, and hold him until arraignment.
