Police: Chase Bank Window Shattered

Police say nothing was tampered with inside, but that there was no one in the area when they arrived.

If the person who smashed out the window of a White Plains bank late Sunday night had a reason for doing so, police say they haven't figured it out.

Police say they found the front right window broken at the Chase Bank at 235 Main St. at about 11:17 p.m. The broken window was near an ATM, but police say nothing inside the bank had been tampered with.

There were no people in the area at the time police arrived, according to an arrest report.
