Release: Dine Out at Vintage to End Hunger in Westchester
Raise money for the Food Bank of Westchester by eating at Vintage Bar & Restaurant on Wednesday, Aug. 17.

Wednesday, August 17th is a great night to do it for the inaugural Miss Westchester & Miss Hudson Valley Pageants’ "Dine Out to End Hunger" which benefits Food Bank for Westchester.

Supporting the event is easy.
Simply dine at Vintage Restaurant & Bar, 171 Main Street, White Plains and ten percent of your bill will be donated to Food Bank for Westchester.

As an added bonus, Miss Westchester 2011, Christina DeLeon, and Miss Westchester Teen 2011, Samantha Gold, will be on hand to welcome diners.
In Westchester County, 200,000 residents, about 20% of the total population, are hungry or at risk of hunger. Half of them are seniors, and approximately one-third are children under the age of 18 years.
To help fight hunger in Westchester County, the Miss Westchester & Miss Hudson Valley Pageants have selected Food Bank for Westchester as the beneficiary of the 2012 People’s Choice Award fundraiser.
In addition to the restaurant fundraiser, pageant contestants have been collecting non-perishable food and money for the charity.
“For every dollar donated to the Food Bank, we can purchase $4 worth of nutritious food to feed children and families who are hungry,” said Christina Rohatynskyj, executive director for the Food Bank for Westchester.
