Lake Street Shooting Suspect Turns Self In

Dominique Hospie, 18, of 125 Lake St. in White Plains, is charged with first-degree assault, second-degree possession of a weapon and second-degree use of firearms.

An 18-year-old White Plains man turned himself in at the White Plains Department of Public Safety around 5 p.m. Friday, after police searched for the suspect who accused of   

Dominique Hospie of 125 Lake St. is charged with first degree assualt,  a B felony; first second degree criminal use of firearm, a C felony; and second degree criminal possession of a weapon, also a class C felony. 

"I believe that Mr. Hospie felt the pressure and our pursuit of him was relentless," said White Plains Public Safety Commissioner David Chong. "For him to turn himself in was for the best."

According to LoHud.com, police believe that Hospie allegedly pulled the trigger, however they have not discussed a motivie or said whether they recovered the weapon. 

The unidentified victim was in critcal condition, and underwent serveral surgeries. He is now recovering from the multiple gunshot wounds at Westchester Medical Center.
