Serious Assault on Mamaroneck Avenue in White Plains

Police tape stretched around the corner of Mamaroneck and Martine avenues around 7:30 p.m. Monday, as detectives investigated an incident that sent one victim to the hospital.

White Plains Commissioner of Public Safety David Chong described the incident that took place in front of 43 Mamaroneck Ave., Famigilia Pizzaria, and 50 Mamaroneck Ave., , as a “serious assault.”

The victim’s condition was not available. Police are looking for possible witnesses.
