Severe Thunderstorm Watch in Effect
Thunderstorms tonight, possible showers and thunderstorms tomorrow

The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch that includes White Plains.
According to their website, scattered thunderstorms are possible after 5 p.m.

Late Afternoon: Scattered thunderstorms, mainly after 5pm. Some of the storms could be severe. Widespread haze. Mostly sunny, with a high near 94. West wind around 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
Tonight: Scattered thunderstorms before 3am, then a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 3am. Some of the storms could be severe. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 70. West wind between 5 and 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
Friday: A chance of showers, with thunderstorms also possible after 2pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 83. Northeast wind between 5 and 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
Friday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 61. South wind between 6 and 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
