Universal Pre K Slots Open at Rochambeau

The free classes are held from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. or 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. Children must be 4-year-old by Dec. 31 in order to qualify.

Family Service of Westchester

Founded in 1954, Family Services of Westchester offers more than 50 educational and social service programs throughout the county, serving 30,000 people a year. Since 2004, FSW has operated a Head Start and Early Head Start program in White Plains and this year will enroll 194 preschoolers and 40 toddlers in the two programs, respectively. In 2011, the city of White Plains asked FSW’s Head Start program to run its Universal Pre K program, which can accept up to 144 students.
