Police Say Duo Used Fake Credit Cards at Neiman Marcus. Female Gets Away

Though police nabbed Robert Gaskin, 28, of Brooklyn for allegedly using a fake credit to buy a $1,056 coat from Neiman Marcus on Tuesday night—Gaskin’s female accomplice got away.
According to police reports, the female went into the store and allegedly purchased a $672 coat with the same fraudulent card, then sat in a car outside the store waiting for Gaskin. As police entered the store to arrest Gaskin—who allegedly also had a fake New York State Lerner’s Permit—fled on foot up Maple Avenue and was caught by police in a parking structure stairwell at 60 S. Broadway where he struggled with police before he was handcuffed.

Gaskin was charged with two felony counts of grand larceny in the fourth degree; misdemeanor criminal possession of a forged instrument in the second degree; and misdemeanor resisting arrest. Police attempted to stop the female, however she drove off and got away.
Knife Fight at Westchester Hills Country Club
A party turned violent Tuesday night at the resulting in two individuals being injured with a knife.
Police arrived at the golf club around 10:03 p.m. on reports of a fight breaking out. When police arrived a male victim said Jader Palaez had allegedly stabbed him in the hand, 52, of White Plains.
According to police reports, a female victim sustained a long scratch on the inside of her arm and said she was allegedly struck by Palaez’s knife. Police arrested Palaez at his home and charged him with felony assault in the second degree, felony attempted assault in the second degree, and misdemeanor criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree.
Teens Steal Nutella, Monistat
Two 18 and 19-year-old females must have had a mean chocolate craving and desperate need for feminine itch relief when they were arrested for petty larceny at , 275 Main St., on Tuesday.
According to police reports, the Connecticut teens allegedly attempted to steal a jar of Nutella chocolate spread, Monistat feminine cream, two packages of boxers, a pocket book and cosmetics.
Vehicle Break-ins on Crane and Lenox
City residents reported two car break-ins on Tuesday to cars that were unlocked and parking in driveways. A Crane Avenue resident reported $20 in change, and prescription sunglasses stolen from her unlocked car, valued at a total of $50. A Lenox Avenue resident reported the theft of two pairs of Ray Ban sunglasses and an HP laptop, totaling $1,320.
