WHITE PLAINS, NY — Westchester County's Winter Wonderland Drive-Thru Holiday Light Extravaganza returns on Friday for its 12th season, with Novemberfest, a new opening weekend walk-thru holiday experience to launch the season before the beloved drive-thru opens.

"For more than a decade, the Westchester County Parks Department and Westchester Parks Foundation have done an outstanding job presenting Westchester's Winter Wonderland Drive-thru Holiday Light Extravaganza, which has become a special part of the holiday season in Westchester," Westchester County Executive Ken Jenkins said. "What began as a festive event has become a cherished tradition for many families in the area. The dazzling displays captivate children, delight adults, and create memories that will last for years to come."

The special three-night walk-thru experience will take place from Friday, November 21 through Sunday, November 23, from 5 p.m.–9 p.m. Tickets are $30 per adult, $20 per child (ages 5–12, under 5 free). Each evening will feature:

Each night of Novemberfest will also have unique festivities:
- Friday, November 21: Westchester County Executive Ken Jenkins will join Westchester Parks Foundation (WPF), and the Westchester County Parks Department at Kensico Dam Plaza in Valhalla at 6 p.m. to celebrate the opening of Westchester's Winter Wonderland and Novemberfest. The Westchester Parks Foundation will welcome a special child to help light the tree, 5-year-old Piper Melzer from Cortlandt Manor, who has been in and out of Maria Fareri Children's Hospital since she was 21 months old due to a condition called gastroparesis, which slows or stops the movement of food from her stomach to her small intestine. Despite her condition and the placement of a GJ tube to help her body properly absorb nutrients, Melzer doesn't let anything slow her down. She received the nickname 'The Mayor' during her hospital stay, because she made friends with everyone she met.
- Saturday, November 22: Santa Fun Run & Mascot Race, starting at 5 p.m.
- Sunday, November 23: Showcase of live music performances by bands throughout the evening.
The Winter Wonderland Drive-Thru will kick off on Friday, November 28. Admission: $35-$42 for off-peak and-peak tickets, per vehicle. (Additional fee for oversized vehicles. Reservations required to avoid surcharges.) Holiday classics will be simulcast through your vehicle's FM radio. Guests should allow 25-30 minutes to drive through the attraction.
