White Plains Businesses Among The Best In Westchester

Westchester Magazine has listed the winners of the 2016 “Best of Westchester Awards.” Quite a few White Plains businesses made the cut.

City Limits Diner, 200 Central Avenue, White Plains

The diner offers everything from a wonderful brunch to a hearty dinner and the classic diner interior makes it a fun place to eat. Besides the traditional fare, Westchester Magazine says that the diner offers “a selection of gourmet pizzas,” with roasted mushroom, truffle Pecorino, Parmesan, and truffle oil.

Emma’s Ale, 68 Gedney Way, White Plains

The neighborhood pub serves American comfort food entrees and a large selection of craft brews. One popular dish is the spicy Chicken Chipotle Nachos topped with black beans, pico de gallo, aged cheddar cheese, guacamole, and sour cream.

Sofrito, 175 Main Street, White Plains

The menu includes aromatic Puerto Rican cuisine and cocktails. Westchester Magazine listed Sofrito among its Latin American All Star Restaurants. “Sofrito is Latin American fusion at its best,” said the magazine’s writer Lesley Ann Brill.
