White Plains Farmers Market Set To Open

The market will be open Wednesdays from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. through Nov. 23

WHITE PLAINS, NY — The city of White Plains is welcoming back the downtown farmers market for the season April 20.

City officials said the market will open Wednesdays from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. through Nov. 23.

The market, which is in partnership with Bensidoun USA, will be located on Court Street between Main Street and Martine Avenue.

All the produce vendors come from local farms in upstate New York and Connecticut, officials said.

By purchasing their produce, customers help support the network of local farmers. Additionally, farmers who sell their produce at farmers markets are able to pick their produce at the very peak of freshness and flavor.
