White Plains To Hold Annual Memorial Day Parade, Ceremony

WHITE PLAINS, NY — Memorial Day 2022 will be commemorated in White Plains at 10 a.m. Monday, May 30 with the annual parade and ceremony.

The events will be sponsored by the Mayor's Memorial and Veterans Days Board.

Community businesses and organizations are invited to participate as marchers in the event, organizers said.

Groups will assemble at 9:30 a.m. on Church Street between Main Street and Hamilton Avenue. The parade will march from Church Street to Main Street, onto North Broadway and end at the Soldiers and Sailors Monument at the White Plains Rural Cemetery on North Broadway.

At the parade's end, a ceremony will be held at the Rural Cemetery.

The parade and ceremony will be held rain or shine.
