Winter Fun at Ebersole Ice Rink in White Plains

Skaters of all ages know that Ebersole Ice Rink is the place to be this winter season! This year, in White Plains is boasting some great improvements.

The Skate Shop at Ebersole Ice Rink now includes three hundred of the newest, most up-to-date rental skates available from the skate industry. Additionally, the skate shop is equipped with a state of the art skate sharpening machine, where you can have your skates sharpened for a minimal fee.  

Also new this year is the Slap Happy Café, which is open during public sessions and is providing a menu of terrific home style meals and snacks for the whole family.

Public skate sessions are held throughout the week and on weekends:

• Wednesday: noon – 2:00 p.m.
• Thursday: 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 – 5:00 p.m.  (“two skate for one price” during this last session)
• Friday: 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 – 10:00 p.m. (featuring a live DJ!)
• Saturday: 12:15 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:30 - 9:30 p.m .
• Sunday: 10:00 - 11:45 a.m. (adults only) and a general public skating session from 1:15 – 5:00 p.m.

In addition, several special events are scheduled for Ebersole Ice Rink during the months of January and February 2012, including:

• Public skating on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Monday, January 16 from 12:15 – 3:00 p.m.
• Disco Night on Saturday, January 21 during the 7:30 p.m. public session featuring a live DJ.  
• February is highlighted by the return of Camp Chill and the Plainsmen Hockey Tournament at Ebersole Ice Rink.
