Man Records Knife Attack on Cell Phone: Cops

A woman lunged at her child's father with a kitchen utensil in front of their 19-month-old baby last Monday evening, police said—and the man caught the attack on tape.

The White Plains woman—a 33-year-old Post Road resident—was in a heated argument with the 28-year-old father of her child, police said, when she "grabbed a steak knife and threatened to kill him," according to reports. The two live together, police said.

The woman then lurched at the man, with their child present—meanwhile, the man was recording the incident on his cell phone, and later showed police the footage.

The woman is facing charges of menacing in the second degree, and endangering the welfare of a child.

Police said the couple have a history of domestic violence.
