Woman Used Fake Check to Swipe $2K from White Plains Business: Cops
After arrest, woman faces two felony charges.

A Westchester woman has been arrested and charged with two felonies after using a fake check to bilk $2,000 from a local business, police said.
All Women’s Health, at 222 Mamaroneck Avenue, told police Tuesday of last week that they were were missing a chunk of money. Soon after, police learned Amanda Hernandez, a 56-year-old Ardsley woman, had forged a company check for $2,000 and deposited the money directly into her own account, police said.
Police have charged Hernandez with forgery in the second degree and grand larceny in the fourth degree, both felonies.
