Prime Williamsburg To Get Another Wythe-Like Hotel
The architect released a rendering that looks exactly how you'd expect a new construction on N. 13th St. to look.

WILLIAMSBURG, BROOKLYN — North 13th Street in prime Williamsburg is getting (SHOCKER) a new, 90-room hotel between Wythe and Berry streets on that stretch near McCarren Park near the Wythe Hotel. Stores and offices will inhabit the first three floors of the new building at 105 N. 13th St., and the rooms will be situated on the fourth through seventh floors, according to YIMBY New York.
The building is designed by architect Karl Fischer to fit right in with the Wythe and other modern, expensive hotels in prime Brooklyn. Fischer this week released a rendering of the future tourist attraction under the name "Hotel North 13th"; it is unclear when construction will start.
The developer is Rabsky Group, a company under real estate mogul Simon Dushinsky, which bought the property and the one-story warehouse that's situated on it for $8.2 million in 2014, according to city documents. Rabsky Group increased square footage of the new hotel by adding 12,221-square-foot community spaces that can legally be added on to commercial square footage, which is limited by Williamsburg's zoning laws that favor manufacturing, YIMBY noted.
