Update: Alternate Side Parking Restrictions Ease Up in Windsor Terrace
The Department of Sanitation will reduce its weekly street cleaning schedule starting later this month.

Community Board 7 has some good news for those fatigued by the endless struggle for parking.
Starting on March 26, alternate side parking regulations will be suspended for 6 to 8 weeks while the Department of Transportation posts new signs throughout the area. The new regulations, which will decrease the frequency and duration of the street cleaning schedule, will take effect once all the signs are in place.
The new regulations will impact the following boundaries in and around Windsor Terrace:

North
15th Street (included) from 4th Avenue to Prospect Park West

Prospect Park Southwest (included) from Prospect Park West to Park Circle
Coney Island Avenue (not included) from Park Circle to Caton Avenue
East
Caton Avenue (not included) from Coney Island Avenue to Fort Hamilton Parkway
Fort Hamilton Parkway (not included) from Caton Avenue to 37th Street
37th Street (not included) from Fort Hamilton Parkway to 8th Avenue
Note that the changes do not impact the 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. rules, parking meters or any rules that are not street cleaning regulations.
