Brancaccio's Closed for the Day
Wednesday's storm knocked out the power to the popular sandwich shop.
Wednesday's massive downpour has knocked out the power at Brancaccio's Food Shop, forcing it to shutter for the rest of the day.
Owner Joe Brancaccio told Patch that the Fort Hamilton Parkway eatery's power went out just after 3 p.m. Though he hopes it will be restored quickly, he's closing up shop anyway, to re-open at its usual 8:30 a.m. on Thursday.
"But what will become of all that pre-made food?" you ask, licking your chops and reaching for your rain coat.

"My mother is coming by," Brancaccio said. "Fortunately we have a big family, so it will be taken care of."
