Hendersonville Pharmacy Manager receives prestigious CVS Health company recognition

Trevor Walker, Pharmacy Manager at the CVS Pharmacy located at 522 South Main Street in Hendersonville, was awarded a 2025 National Paragon Award from CVS Health. The annual Paragon Awards recognize the best of the best among CVS Health’s colleagues and are among the highest honors awarded by the company.

At the same time, they have demonstrated their ability to deliver outstanding business results, lead their teams to excellence, and make substantial contributions to the communities where they live and work. They are considered role models for the entire company.

Walker is a well-respected pharmacist whose leadership shone in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. When his home store was forced to close due to extensive damage, he took on three temporary assignments at nearby CVS Pharmacy locations to continue to support patients. He is also dedicated to building strong pharmacy teams that are focused on providing outstanding pharmacy care to their patients, and he even helped his home store

become one of the top-performing pharmacies in its district.

Walker’s dedication to serving others goes beyond the pharmacy. When his honeymoon destination experienced severe flooding from the hurricane, he jumped into action to help rescue guests who were trapped on the roof – demonstrating his commitment to putting people first both personally and professionally.

“Trevor truly represents what it means to bring your heart to every moment, whether he’s inside or outside of the pharmacy,” said Devon Peightal, District Leader for CVS Pharmacy. “He has gone above and beyond his duties to serve the Hendersonville community, and his leadership was instrumental in helping us continue to serve our patients after Hurricane Helene. While Trevor did not miss a beat – supporting nearby stores for eight months while his home store on South Main Street underwent repairs – we were thrilled to welcome him back when the store reopened in May. We are honored to have him on our team.”

Every year, CVS Health honors Paragon Award winners from its thousands of store managers, pharmacists, nurse practitioners and pharmacy benefits management employees. The winners were nominated by their supervisors and eventually voted on by CVS Health’s senior leaders. The 2025 Retail Paragon Award winners are being recognized in August as part of the company’s annual Retail Leadership Experience event activities.
