Pair Opens New Nothing Bundt Cakes in West Asheville
With second location in the city, Texas transplants love calling North Carolina "home"
Owners Megan Herschmann and Rebekah Moody met in Texas while working at a Nothing Bundt Cakes in Fort Worth. A few years later, they decided to open one for themselves and moved to North Carolina to open their bakery in Asheville. “Nothing Bundt Cakes has created family for me in every city I’ve lived in,” shared Megan. “Since moving to Asheville, my husband, kids and I have fallen in love with this city and love being a part of the local Asheville community.” Rebekah added,” I moved here in 2019 and am more than proud to call Asheville home. And, we are now so happy to bring the joy to a new side of town.” The bakery, which opened on January 8, will celebrate a grand opening February 3-8 (see details below).

- Monday-Wednesday, February 3-5
- Community Appreciation Days – The following will receive 20% off in-bakery cake purchases on their designated day: Monday - Teachers and School Staff, Tuesday - First Responders and Military, Wednesday - City Employees

- Kids Day – Bring the little ones in for a treat and fun activity to celebrate our grand opening!

- BeLoved Asheville Benefit Day - 20% of sales will be donated to this organization dedicated to building connections, supporting the community, and creating a future where everyone thrives.
- 12 p.m. - Ribbon Cutting
- Saturday, February 8
- 10 a.m. – Free Bundtlets for a Year – The first 50 guests age 18+ will receive a Free Bundtlets for a Year punch card valid for one Bundtlet per month for 12 months
Nothing Bundt Cakes is located at 275 Smokey Park Hwy, Ste 261 and is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and on Sunday from 12 to 5 p.m. The luscious cakes are baked daily using the finest ingredients, including real eggs, butter and cream cheese, in 40 unique designs and 10 delicious flavors.
