10 People Arrested In Cornelius: Police Blotter
This past week, police cited drivers 32 times for speeding. Here's a run down of all the crimes and arrests reported around town last week.
CORNELIUS, NC β Police in Cornelius made 10 arrests last week for charges including assault, possession of a stolen firearm, speeding and drug possession. One man was arrested twice in the space of four days.
Officers with Cornelius Police Department issued 72 citations last week, including 32 tickets for speeding and 16 tickets for drivers making improper turns at Jetton Road and Old Jetton Road, according to the CPD blotter.
There were two vehicle breaking and entering cases reported, as well as nine cases of larceny, CPD said. Cashion's Quick Stop reported a larceny and a case of fraud; the State Employees Credit Union reported a case of fraud and NAPA Auto Parts reported a commercial breaking and entering and a case of larceny.
