5 Larcenies Reported In Cornelius: Police Blotter

Cornelius police took reports of five larcenies and two vehicle break-ins this week. Here's a run down of crime reported around town.

CORNELIUS, NC β€” Police in Cornelius made two arrests this week for charges including driving while license revoked and assault on a female. Police also nabbed 13 drivers for speeding.

Officers with Cornelius Police Department issued 29 citations last week, including 13 for speeding-related offense, two for failing to stop at a red light and one for exceeding no wake speed in a watercraft.

CPD received seven crime incident reports last week. They included:

  • July 8 β€” Larceny, 9748 Psalms Street
  • July 8 β€” Breaking and entering vehicle, 17702 W. Catawba Avenue (Robbins Park)
  • July 9 β€” Larceny, 19710 Kunkleman Drive
  • July 10 β€” Larceny, 19116 Juanita Lane
  • July 10 β€” Larceny, 10230 Victoria Bake Drive
  • July 14 β€” Breaking and entering vehicle, 17702 W. Catawba Avenue (Robbins Park)
  • July 14 β€” Larceny, 19608 School Street

  • Woody James Allison, 39, was arrested on North Main Street on July 8, charged with driving with license revoked no impaired and fictitious/altered title/registration card/tag
  • Brian Keith Wood, 55, was arrested on Smith Circle on July 11, charged with assault on a female
