Crimes Reported At 6 Cornelius Businesses This Week: CPD

CORNELIUS, NC — Police in Cornelius made 10 arrests this week for charges including assault on a female, trespassing and resisting an officer.

Officers with Cornelius Police Department issued 55 citations last week, including 24 for speeding-related offense, three for underage drinking and four for either an expired inspection or expired vehicle tag.

CPD received nine crime incident reports last week. They included:

• July 15 — Fraud, 19010 Statesville Road (Freeman's Car Stereo)
• July 15 — Larceny vehicle, 19121 Coachman's Trace
• July 15 — Larceny, 8315 Magnola Estates Drive (Publix)
• July 18 — Damage property, 10228 Bailey Road (Champion Tire & Wheel Co.)
• July 19 — Damage property, 9906 Caldwell Depot Road
• July 20 — Larceny, 18809 Nautical Drive
• July 20 — Larceny, 17111 Statesville Road (Home Depot)
• July 20 — Larceny, 17111 Statesville Road (Home Depot)
• July 21 — Larceny, 19733 Stateville Road (Cashion's Quik Stop)

Cornelius Police made 10 arrests between July 15 and July 21, 2020:

• Nathan Carl Adams, 34, was arrested on Liverpool Parkway on July 17, charged with assault on a female
• Mark Andrew Neville, 58, was arrested on Catawba Ave. on July 17, charged with assault on a female
• Gary Grant Boyd, 27, was arrested on Torrence Chapel Road on July 17, charged with second degree trespass
• Justin Shane Frasier, 29, was arrested on Catawba Ave. on July 18, charged with second degree trespass
• Darryl Davekio Jordan, 28, was arrested on Smith Circle on July 19, charged with possession of a stolen motor vehicle, possession of a firearm by felon and resisting public officer
• Gregory Hart, 38, was arrested on Coachman's Trace on July 19, charged with assault on a female
• Kellee Denis Capece, 46, was arrested on W. Catawba Ave. on July 19, charged with driving while impaired
• Brittany Dawn Rowell, 37, was arrested at Home Depot on Statesville Road on July 20, charged with larceny
• Daniel Van Rowell, 29, was arrested at Home Depot on Statesville Road on July 20, charged with larceny and possession of drug paraphernalia
• Kierra Kassandra Braxton, 43, was arrested on Kenton Drive on July 21, charged with communicating threats and domestic violence protective order violation
