7 Arrests Made In Cornelius: This Week's Police Blotter

CORNELIUS, NC — Officers made seven arrests this week on charges that included felony possession of marijuana, resisting an officer and littering more than 500 pounds, according to the Cornelius Police Department.

Police received eight crime incidents this week for incidents that included two vehicle break-ins and one vehicle theft. A recent rash of vehicle thefts in Cornelius prompted police to issue a warning to area residents Thursday.

CPD officers issued 40 citations, including 23 for speed-related offenses, three for no operators license, and three for making an improper turn.

Arrests made by Cornelius Police Department between Sept. 30 and Oct. 6 2020:

• Nicholas Adam Stover, 29, was arrested Sept. 30 on Aftonshire Drive, charged with felony possession of marijuana; felony maintaining a vehicle/dwelling; felony manufacture of marijuana; felony possession with intent to distribute marijuana and misdemeanor possession of marijuana paraphernalia
• Jason Paul Folk, 33, was arrested Sept. 30 on Poole Place Drive, charged with felony littering more than 500 pounds
• Richard Eugene Graham, 43, was arrested Oct. 1 on S. Hill Street, charged intoxicated and disruptive and resisting a public officer
• Martin Lee Lewis, 28, was arrested Oct. 2 on Sam Furr Road and Knoxwood Lane, charged with felony breaking and entering of a motor vehicle; felony first degree burglary; felony larceny after breaking and entering; felony possession of a stolen firearm; felony possession of a firearm by a felon; and misdemeanor carrying a concealed gun
• Samuel Sinclair, 25, was arrested Oct. 3 on Oak Street, charged with driving while impaired
• April Dawn Eason, 42, was arrested Oct. 6 on Statesville Road, charged with felony breaking and entering terrorize/injure
• Justin Allen Alexander, 39, was arrested Oct. 6 at CVS on W. Catawba Avenue, charged with misdemeanor shoplifting concealment of goods
