Cornelius Outdoor Cinema: 'The Addams Family' Showing Friday

CORNELIUS, NC — Fall is a perfect time to move movie night under the stars and this week, the Town of Cornelius is doing just that. "The Addams Family" at Legion Park Friday, Oct. 23.

The Outdoor Cinema Series is sponsored by the Town of Cornelius and brings popular family-friendly movies to town parks throughout the fall.

Legion Park is located at 21214 Legion Street in Cornelius.

Here's what the Town of Cornelius says about the movie series:

• The park opens at 6 p.m.
• Pre-registration is required, and may be done here.
• Ticket prices are $5 per person ($3 per Cornelius resident), regardless of age.
• Concessions, including food and local beer, will be available for purchase.
• Masks are not required but recommended if social distancing cannot be maintained.
• No outside alcohol allowed.
• No dogs or other animals allowed.
• Don't forget to bring your lawn chairs and blankets!

The movie will begin shortly after dusk (approximately 6:45 p.m.) Some movies are edited for general content.
