Cornelius Player Wins $4 Million In Online Lottery
Someone in Cornelius is a lot richer after playing the North Carolina lottery online.
CORNELIUS, NC — A Cornelius resident played the lottery online and scored huge, according to the North Carolina Education Lottery.
Someone in town played the lottery online and bought a $3 Megaplier ticket, then matched their numbers to win $1 million. That Megaplier ticket then quadrupled their winnings to $4 million!
The Cornelius winner is just one of three people to win in the entire country, and has 180 days to claim their winnings.
